Delicious
We feed our shrimp a rich diet in exact amounts to avoid hazardous, pollution-generating overfeeding. Our food also decreases the bromine smell (or “iodine aftertaste”) you’ll experience with other shrimp. You may be so used to this smell; you think it’s all a part of eating shrimp. We’d love to prove you wrong!
We’ll bet you’ve never had sushi-grade shrimp. Now that is fresh! All the shrimp you find at Shrimp Station will have a satisfying “bite,” a firm texture and a taste that can only be described as fresh and delicious.
Visit your grocery store and look for “fresh” shrimp. You’ll find frozen shrimp and it’s likely the grocer will have no idea when the shrimp was caught. Truth is, shrimp is usually frozen on a boat and could take 8-10 days to get to your grocer.
Shrimp Station shrimp is always no older than three days. Usually, the shrimp you see was alive just 24 hours ago.
So, next time you have shrimp, ask yourself, “How fresh is fresh?” Experience truly fresh shrimp from Shrimp Station, and frozen just won’t do.
